Caller: "Good evening, Mrs. X." [strike one]
Me: "Ms. X."
"Hello, Mrs. X, [strike two] I'm Leo and I'm calling from Parthenon Holidays. [pause] Right?"
"You're calling to tell me that your name is Leo and you're calling from Something Holidays, and you're asking ME if you're right?"
"What?"

"My name is Leo and I'm calling from Parthenon Holidays."
"I'm not going on holiday there."
"So what?"

[struggling valiantly to get back on track] "I'm calling to offer your family [strike three] a package deal on tickets to...." [And yer out!]
"I'm not going there. Goodbye."
