Hair, adequately prepared for surgery?

May 18, 2012 07:20

Actually, there's a problem (sorry to get detailed) but I am worried that the operational area has not been fully permanently cleared of hair.
When I was with Dr Bellringer yesterday morning, prior to actually getting my operation "date", he told me that I would be waiting another 6 months for a date (little did he know!) and espoused to me the necessity to continue with hair clearing between now and then or else I'd end up (to put it politely) with a hair where we don't want it to be!!! For those readers with a sensitive disposition, stop reading now...
Now the fact that I've received a date early has made me worried that I'm not adequately prepared for it.
I have examined myself again this morning in the fresh light of day and there is hair on the shaft and in "patches" on the scrotal area.

I need to speak to someone (probably the head nurse, Iffy) at the hospital about this today.
