(no subject)
Noone updates anymore, including me. That is lame. I'm going to try to update more often. Hopefully every couple of days at the very least. I remember I used to update a few times everyday!!!
Positive thoughts for the day:
Only 8 days til Easter vacation.
Only 9 more weeks of school til summer vacation.
I have decided that I will audition for The Last 5 Years.
Negative thoughts for the day:
I am seriously behind in my curriculum with my third graders.
I have to plan an end of the year concert for ALL grade levels and I haven't even started that project yet.
I still don't know anything about the prospect of a new job for next year.
I am still making bad shoe choices for the school day; it's only 10:00 and my feet hurt already!
Okay, so the negatives outweigh the positives, but not by much. Surely that counts for something. Let's keep our fingers crossed that this week is better than last. The kids seem to be catching on to my new discipline plan. Sure, it means that I have to give up my recess break, but I'll take giving up a break over screaming all day any time! I just have to remember: POSITIVE THOUGHTS........... Only 8 days til vacation!
I'll be spending a couple of days in Biloxi over the break. I can't wait to lay on the beach. I don't know if that's what Jeneane wants to do or not, but I NEED the beach! Hopefully I'll be able to take Onna, Emma and Ethan with me for a little while. Not all day or anything, but there's nothing like little kids on the beach! Relaxation, here I come................ in 8 days.
