I've never tasted macaroons!
Yesterday I went to a friend's (acquaintance's, really) band practise. It was pretty bad, since they hadn't really prepared and they were all fumbling quite a bit. The drummer, who I went to high school with but hardly talked to, and the bassist who I've come to know as a friend recently seemed to be the only ones who could keep a rhythm. Me and Danny left early. I asked Rik to come with, perhaps with a bit too much urgency, for which he labelled me a 'lap-dog'. For wanting to hang out with him too much, possibly. Idiot. Whatever.
You know... We can dance if we want to, we can leave your friends behind. Because your friends don't dance and if they don't dance well they're no friends of mine.
Every once in a while I like to check through the random songs I have in my 'Other' folder. I usually sort music into albums. I'm fairly anal (huhuuh) with the organisation of my music files. I've just been adding songs to a playlist as I go along, remembering how awesome they were when I first listened to them... Advent Children's version of One Winged Angel is the effing shaznit.
Been working on my textiles sketchbook. I don't really like the work, but I gotta finally put some effort into it. Sewing together pieces of wetted cotton wool is quite satisfying and, since I dipped them in a sink of shallow water with a few drops of red food dye, It's almost like sewing flesh! w00t.

I learnt today that most foods that are a good source of calcium also have a tendancy to give you gas. How unfortunate.
I'm going to try learn Spanish with my dad.
