A long time has passed since I knew anyone who keeps an occasionally updated Livejournal, speaks as correctly as I once did before the people around me made me forget how, and isn't afraid to speak about the way they actually feel without reducing it to an emote in a Facebook update and reloading the page until someone notices their frowny face.

I hope you don't mind that I've added you as a friend even though I'm sort of obnoxious and creepy. I know you in a small way and came across this journal while looking for something else entirely, and as far as I'm concerned, you need more comments. Also, I adore your name (the real one and the name of the journal) and would really love to know what you consider to be anime that doesn't suck.

And please point out any grammatical errors I make, if you feel like it. I want to speak properly again one of these days.

What does the sun feel like in Canada? I don't even know what to say about cliffs, never having seen one.

If I had problems with people reading what I have written here I'd just make it all private. I don't mind anyone reading any of this, creepy and/or obnoxious as they may be, and being as open and honest as I can is part of why I do this. That said, I might not respond with kindness should you decide to come and spew capitalist/libertarian propaganda all through my comments (which is what the only people I've ever really had a problem with on here did).

I mostly just use facebook to show people how unkempt I look and to communicate with the people who have abandoned everything else. I do my writing here.

Anime that doesn't suck: Well, most of it sucks. Most of everything sucks. A friend of mine put it quite well when he observed that it's a mistake to think of anime (or manga) as a genre and that it should instead be thought of as a medium unto itself. So, saying "I like anime" would be roughly equivalent to saying "I like music" or "I like television" - i.e. it doesn't really say anything of substance ( ... )

I'm not planning on spewing any propaganda, at least intentionally, though oddly enough most of the half-intelligent discussions I've had lately have been about libertarianism. That's because of the people around here, though ( ... )

The thing about the temperature here is that I'm in a top-floor apartment without air conditioning and my windows don't really get much air through them. So regardless of what it does outside I sweat all night. It's warmer in my room than it is outside.

There's no need to apologize for commenting here or anything like that. I'm not freaked out. Buuuut I must cut this short as it's now time for me to go yell at people again!

Were you lucky enough to get to move to a place with air conditioning, or with a better temperature one way or another? It's miserable to have to deal with other people all the time, but maybe it's worth the trouble to be able to sleep at night. I've ended up moving to a place that is even more painfully hot and, as a result, can no longer sleep and find myself here at three in the morning. Oh well, at least it means I've finally gotten around to leveling.
