Shego was right. It really wasn't that bad.

[Private to Marco]
We should talk.

[Private to Cooper]
Why did you kill her?

[Private to Capa]
Can we like, discuss what happened? I mean, with Sveta and Cooper?

[Private to Crane]
Can I.. come crash in your room tonight? Please?

Why? What happened?

It seemed to happen to people with powers more. A friend lost all his powers and got locked out of his room. Another broke his nose, a third his ankle, and one friend cut off his finger. My powers control luck and they went completely haywire. The CES tried to kill Tony and I, Luke had to defend me from a really weird assault, and eventually it got so bad I had to lock myself in zero to cancel all my powers.

Shego was right about one thing though--we did most of us survive. I just wish...well, wishing none of this had happened is kinda obvious, but I do.

I'm sorry..

Why didn't you just go down into Zero in the first place, though? Wouldn't that have been easier?

...

...because that place scares me like nowhere else, and I don't know why?

I can't argue that.

If my powers ever go haywire again, though, I have already asked some Wardens to just cart me down there. After what happened in the CES...heh...I can laugh about it now, I must be getting better,. But yeah.

I can't even really think about what that's like. I don't know. I mean like, you always think of heroes as just having these awesome powers and not really having trouble with them, you know? Well, okay, maybe they did in comics and stuff, but.. that was a story. It's weird thinking about it in real life. No offense.

No, it's cool.

To tell you the truth, really powerful mutants have to practice just as hard as wizards do, and tend to be in their late twenties to thirties before they get the kind of mastery that makes it look easy.

..I can't really say I understand magic either, but I get what you mean. I guess you just hope it gets easier?

Actually I train, like, super hard. Physically, mentally and with my powers. It is getting easier. But like combat training, there's a lot of falling on my ass between here and where I want to be.

Do you enjoy it, though? I mean, is it cool getting better and better and knowing you're improving because of your hard work?

Yeah, I do. It's like building muscle in the gym or learning self defense. It gives me a certain confidence that grows as I get better.

That's awesome. I totally know what you mean. Good luck.
