Maybe it was just growing up as an only child in a broken divorced home? But I never got the whole Christmas thing. I'm sick of putting up decorations and getting caught under mistletoe, and everything else. If anyone needs me? I'll be hiding in my room.. or maybe on deck, if I get bored, I guess.

I can't do this anymore. I can't ignore all the things you've done when I still don't even know if you're just using me. So, it's up to you: You can keep me as a business partner, where we stop being friends and go back to not trusting each other and I help you with whatever work you want.. or we're friends and we trust each other, but I stop working with you on the fear gas and the truth serum and stuff. I won't tell anyone still and I won't give them anything I have of yours, I just won't help you make new stuff right now.

[Have a long thinking minute.] You're probably not going to believe me when I say this, but not working on more fear toxin and truth serum may be the best thing at the moment. I also have commitments. I was previously considering that any attack on the Joker would be completely justified, but I suspect finding loopholes isn't helpful. So it might be for the best if we put our studies on hold for the present.

Possible something like trying to minimize the effects of floods and ports on ourselves. I've had enough of doing ridiculous things whenever the Admiral feels bored.
