Even in asylums and normal prisons, people get a routine. I mean, do I want to have to shower with everyone else? Not really.. but it would be nice to have things to do besides just like, reading all the time and working. Someone request a theater or a music room or something.. or start chaperoning the art room so we can actually go in there and use it instead of having to ask any time we want a pencil.
In other, only somewhat related news, did you know that the shark we have glows from underneath so that it can camouflage with the light above and that it's said to glow for three hours after being removed from the water? Or that only 1% of people that plead insanity in criminal cases actually get sentenced that? Or that there are records of 'plagues of madness' in history that sound remarkably similar to our 'floods'? Or that a Figure 8 Follow-Through is the most stable knot used by climbers?
No, of course you don't know.. Because no one cares. I'm just a goon and like, read constantly when there's nothing else to do, so I absorb all of this information that no one cares about and most of which isn't at all helpful.
