I was one of the people who saw charlie and the chocolate factory with the no previous memory of the one before. I did see it and loved it very much, but they are pretty much 2 different movies. The first was meant to attract kids with singing and things of that sort. The new one was how it was suppose to be taken. (if you had read the book of course.) I haven't read it but i know what the basic principals are.

All and all i would say i will most definitly be seeing it at least 50 more times. There was so much symbolism and beautiful colors i think it must be seen a lot to fully take in.
