I started taking piano lessons! From the computer actually, i got this rad program which I actually somewhat payed for that's giving me 2 years worth of piano lessons! and it interfaces with my keyboard, like it tells me if i'm playing the wrong note. I'm all excited! I started them and i'm re-learning super fast, the stuff I was learning when Chaz was teaching me has almost all come back in only 2 lessons. Sometime soon I might be ready to start taking lessons from him again, he's such a good teacher, totally PERFECT for me, and he's such a nut and so fun, and he rocks at blues and vintage swing - just what I want to get into.. and he's all about feeling the music for reals, when he plays he freaks out and goes into another world, it's so awesome! Yes yes, it will be soon.
Last weekend I went to AJ's birthday blues party in Seattle, and it was alot of fun! There was nothing that stood way out about the party, except Thao "licking" everybody with the toungue she sewed on her shirt and then saying "..Thank you!" and Diane came down from Vancouver BC and it was really cool to see and dance with her.. her and Thao, were the highlights of my night. I drove up with Scott, Kevin O, and Gabriella, which was fun and interesting, haha, and that night after the party I stayed with Thao. We woke up the next day and hung out unti 6 or 7 which was alot of fun, we got breakfast and went shopping.. geez, that's all we did, but it took like 5 hours! haha.. then Erik Lane picked me up and we rocked it back to Portland. That night I went to Rebecka's b-day party and hung out with Jonah the whole time, and then I went and hung out with Christine for an hour or so
Sunday was a big blur. haha
The weekend before last was DC Dave's blues party, which was a blast-o-butter, and haloween which was also alot of fun although we didn't DO much. I hardly remember either, but Katie summed them both up beautifully =) haha
