(no subject)
Last night I danced at Norse Hall. It was kind of cheezy, it reminded me of that trip Katie Russ Traci and I took up to Seattle for Stompy Jones, I won't go into detail, but a few of you know what I mean. =) The music was all that cheesy bluesy rockabilly stuff, not the funnest, but definately apropriate for Norse Hall. I was SO tired and didn't have that much fun.. luckily a few friends were there, Matt, Kendra, Julie, Sarah.. Kendra and Sarah go to Imago Day which I sort of go to, and this morning the three of us met up and went to this new service Imago's doing, an "alternative worship experience" =). We all went to Hoyt Arboretm and walked around the nature trails for hours in the rain and had kind of forced, planned conversations about God. It was a bit cheesy =) I got way soaked, but had fun with Sarah and Kendra, we danced in the covered picnic area while everyone else who came stood in awe. =) Sarah showed me shag! It seems fun, and not as hard as I thought. She didn't know how to explain the lead's concepts to me other than the steps - we did a mean basic though.
I might be buying this car
It's a great car! It's a VW Fox, 1987, and it get's areound 30 miles per gallon, not bad. It's a measley $150, but it needs a new fuel pump which is a $300-$400 repair.. the guy is going to call me tomorrow to tell me how much the repair will be, and if it's not too bad I'm going to score it! Yeah! It's not my dream car, but I need something decent for now until my dream car comes along. And it's sweet, look at it! It's me
