LJ and MySpace
wow. Just stumbled onto Jill Cunniff's MySpace. I'd love to see an LJ reunion show.
Random trivia: Jill was probably the most well known person I interviewed during my short stint as a "music journalist" in college. I wasn't very good at it.
As you are now probably aware, Jill's debut album "City Beach" will be released on February the 6th of 2007! We really can't wait for everyone to hear this record and really believe you will love what you hear! Leading up to the release date Jill will be playing some unannounced/impromptu shows in NYC so stay tuned for more information.
Next up, Luscious Jackson. As some of you have heard, the girls of LJ have been working on recording a NEW kids themed album. This will be the first LJ material released in quite some time but unfortunately it won't see the light of day for some time as they have just started the process. In the meantime, we can share with you for the very first time that Capitol Records will be releasing a "Greatest Hits" album in February of 2007. Spanning the girls career on the legendary Grand Royal Records the album will feature a bunch of great songs and other goodies. a MUST have for any LJ fan.
