First things first, thank you so much for going to the effort to write a fic for me!
One of the most important things for me is snappy dialog and banter, most of the characters I chose are known for their sharp tongues. Those are generally the types of characters I’m attracted to. Also, in-jokes and details are awesome, but I get really twitchy if they're wrong or used incorrectly. I don’t mind graphic sex, but I’m not much for PWP. I generally don’t read anything that is only smut. It bores me. Character development is the most important thing to me. AUs are very cool. I love ‘what ifs’. I don't mind dark fic because some of the characters I picked have quite the dark side, but I don't like senseless dark fic. It has to make sense for the characters and their universe. But on the flip side I really just love happy endings too.
Xenozoic Tales/Cadillacs and Dinosaurs- Hannah Dundee/Jack Tenrec
This is my long shot wish fic. There isn’t any fandom for this and I've never come across a single fan fic for this series. I just really want to spend my time in this world and it doesn’t seem like we’ll be getting any more from Mark Schultz.
All I can say is that I would be ecstatic over almost anything with Jack and Hannah, be it romance or friendship. I love the tension and contrasts between them, either as friends or lovers. Even the tiniest snippet would make me overjoyed beyond belief. Here's some pic spam to get you inspired:
http://vickyocean.livejournal.com/31292.html Defying Gravity- Zoe Barnes/Maddux Donner
Defying Gravity hits so many of my buttons. Space, the near future, awesome and diverse characters, trapped on a space ship, danger, and mysterious aliens. All of the characters are fascinating, but I really fell in love with Zoe and Donner. They're two types of characters that I love almost every time I find them. I'm a sucker for the slightly damaged and dark hero and the competent though sometimes awkward scientist. I love all the different friendships that run throughout the series too, Donner and Ted. Zoe and Jen. Donner and Ajay. Zoe and Ajay. It seems very real to me.
Also, the will they or won't they aspect of their relationship really gets to me too. I really liked the layered relationship on the show focusing on the past in training and the present on the mission. I like despite everything they've been through they still seem to genuinely care about each other and are capable of remain friends even if they're not together romantically.
After, Defying Gravity was cancelled the series creator, James Parriott, said about where the series was headed if it hadn't been canceled, “They were all going to be tested. The idea was that they all had points in their lives that, if they could do them all again, then they would have chosen a different path. Beta - the ‘fractal objects’ - were going to put them up against those same situations and stand them up to themselves again, give them a chance to make another decision.” (Link to interview if you're interested:

It'd be cool to see a further exploration of that idea, but really I just crave more Zoe and Donner, their history, their future, their teasing, their dream, their friendship and/or romance. Anything would make me happy.
Anne of Avonlea- Anne Shirley/Morgan Harris
I saw the Anne of Avonlea mini series as a kid before I saw Anne of Green Gables or read any of the Anne books. I really fell in love with the Anne/Morgan relationship and was so disappointed that Anne chose Gilbert and that Morgan wasn’t even in the books. I always wanted Anne to have some adventures abroad and see the places she’d read and dreamed about and it seemed like she would be nore likely to have that with Captain Harris. So suffice it to say an AU about Anne and Morgan would make me so happy. Especially if they are traveling to see exotic places. I can just imagine Anne drinking in the Pyramids or Roman or Greek ruins or learning about new cultures in China, Japan or India. I also really enjoyed Anne and Emmelines’s relationship and I’d love to see how she transitioned into being her ‘mother’.
I hope this letter was helpful to you. Again, thank you so much!
