Doing the happy dance and drinking a champagne!
I'm celebrating at this moment.
I just ordered my new car! Whoo Hoo!
It's a 2010 black Mustang GT with red leather interior, 19" machined aluminum wheels, a navigation system, satallite radio, and Microsoft Sync (which is awesome as it is a voice activated system that uses bluethtooth to integrate your cell phone and/or mp3 player with the car and it also has a USB port to plug your device into. ) It is going to be one freakin' sweet car and I'm almost as excited by all the awesome electronic gizmos as I am by the car itself. The only way I could be happier with this car was if it was a Roush Stage 3 and I don't think that would get over the speed bumps where I live.
A muscle car is probably not the most politically correct car to be ordering on Earth Day, but this may be the only time in my life that I get to order a car exactly as I want it. I probably wouldn't even be able to get a new car if my dad (who is as excited as I am, being an old Mustang guy himself) wasn't giving me the money from my grandmother's estate. Which makes me sad, because I could hardly afford a new car at all with out that money, much less one as fantastic as this. Though I think my grandmother would have approved, she was a car person as well. I'll have had my current car 10 years in August, so it was time I got a new one. It was a Mustang too (though a V6 and very basic) and has served me very well.
So now I have to wait 6-10 weeks for it to arrive. There is a definite road trip as soon as I get my hands on it and possibly a speeding ticket. : )
