Fellow DragonConners, it appears that room at the con hotels are going particularly fast this year. According to some the Marriott is sold out on Sunday night, but others are saying it's some glitch in the system. Also it seems there's going to be some football game in town that weekend and the footfall fan boards have posted the DragonCon discount

Thanks! I'd heard that over the weekend, but your post got me off my butt and I called and got a room. They said they couldn't guarantee double beds at this point, but I went ahead and got a king.

Based on our experience last year, they'll do everything they can to see that you get what you really want.

Eep. I need to... do something roomish, definitely. I had a look at the DragonCon LJ a few days ago, and it made me panic slightly, but not enough to get myself organised...
