(no subject)
I hate NTL. Bastards never let me read my emails. I have seven. And they're all good. Except for the viagra advert. WHY WON'T YOU LET ME READ MY EMAILS?
Phew. I've been working hard and deserve lots of As and hugs and cds and stuff. I've been getting up at 6:30. Which is pretty amazing, for me. But needs must, and it's for my music video. I never knew it would be so much work. If I don't get a fucking A I'll cry. Actually, I won't give a toss, but it'd be nice if all my effort was rewarded.
Oh...um...I deleted various people's coursework from the laptop I borrowed from college. Which I'm really worried about. Ii'll have to wear a disguise, or go into hiding or something because they aren't going to be very happy. (It wasn't my fault! Honest! The film director did it!)
I also had my interview at westminster uni. As I feel sleepy I'll re-tell in list form, ok?
Things that went well:
* The course and uni were great! If i get a place, I'll be there. Tthough I'm not particularly holding my breathe
* My business anaylsis of Kasabian's career. He nodded lots. And was impressed by my list of 'sources'
* I was the only person there who responded to the 'most significant cultural event in music this century' essay with an event that actually happened THIS century - fools all said motown/beatles/sixties stuff etc.
* Ii took along some of my work and he smiled lots whilst reading it.
Things that went not so well:
* The interview, in general. I have trouble articulating what I think quickly. Especially when I know I'm being judged on it.
* My response to "Why do you think Kasabian are so big?" I started waffling on about stuff I'd said in my presentation. He didn't respond at all. Perhaps I should have just said 'A couple of good songs' or something?
* At the end he said to me 'If you want to be a music journalist - this course doesn't cover it' in a tone I didn't like. Which confussed me slightly, as I discussed earlier I wanted to work in music and stuff...not nessacarily as a journo. Bbut I made a nice speech and thanked him for his time.
So, just gota wait and see...
