I'm FINALLY STRESS-FREE AGAIN!!!! Thank GOD! soooo.....planning Ben's birthday, eh? THAT was saome crazy ass shit! I had it hella chill at first and I wanted to take the birthday boy+group to go paintballing and that was suuposed to be hella cool. But of course, somewhere along the lines, we all decided that money was a good thing and decided to work our asses off any given day outta the week, so so much for that one. It sucked! Cierra had work til 10 and Manny and Tal had to work (at the latest) til 9, so that scratched out the day portion. So i figured we'd do something once everyone got outta work and Cierra (bless her heart) decided to to send Ben a birthday bite instead because she knew I still had a curfew (which at the time of planning was still 11PM), so she thought it'd be doing too much on my part to only see Ben for 1/2 hour or so before I'd have to take me and Cierra home, so girlie, THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!! If anything, I also thank her for helping me plan the event. She knew I was stressin' out like a mofo, so that helped a lot. I thought of a bonfire, or bowling, but I thought I HAD TO fit in drinking, so that made things even MORE hard. I then thought of just going bowling and calling it a night. No drinking. No smoking. Just sober fun, but then again, I figured that it wouldn't be fun enough for Ben's BIRTHDAY. On a regular day, sure, but on a boyfriend's birthday, you want it to be a little more extraordinary. After almost giving into the idea of renting a hotel so that peeps CAN drink and CAN smoke, I decided to call up Tal to see if the bowling idea would be okay first. I sent her and Manny text messages prior to the call about the bowling idea and asked them to holla back, but they didn't get back to me, so I just figured that the texts' just never went thru. You know how texts' aren't ALWAYS so reliable.... Blasted technology...
Anywho, called her up and she told me that alnog with Manny's possibility of going to So-Cal, she, Danilo and Marcus were thinking about going along with him since they were invited. At first, I was a bit disappointed because that meant that they might all go on to L.A. and not to Ben's birthday thingedy, since he REALLY wanted everyone there. At the same time though, I felt like I was being cut a break just because it made planning something a lot easier. And it's not like we even did much at all. I chauffered him the whole day. We went to Mervyn's to meet up with this one bitch from his job. I gave him his birthday gifts:
1.) a pair of throwing knives w/ arm sheath
2.) set of 12 throwing knives (bought this second to the pair b/c thought the pair wasn't shit)
3.) a bottle of Belvedere
4.) a bottle of alize bleu
5.) an 1/8 of bud
It's DEFINITELY one of the most illegal birthday packages one can get, but I figured the cool ass gifts would make up for the possibly shitty day. Anyway, we met up with the chick, went "bowling", then went to Sea Bowl to bowl. After that, she had to go, so he and I went back to San Bruno and smoked a little more. Then we met up with his friend Josh and ate at the Olive Garden. The best part about that: IT WAS FREE!!!! His mom gave him a $50 gift card to the Olive Garden/Red Lobster, so that was kick ass because if we didn't go there, I was gonna take him out to the Cheesecake Factory in the city, and that wouldn't of been cheap. But after dinner, we were supposed to do the drinking thing, but i was so damn tired, it was rediculous. Driving home was already a bitch and a half, and I had to get home by 2, so I left around 1. After all of that, I spent over $200 on his birthday, and the sad thing is that was about one paycheck. My job is fucken shit! They only pay $7 even, and that's just piss poor. I'm thinkin' of gettin' another job, but where??? All in all, he was happy, so it was worth it:D
In other news, nothing much has been going on. I asked for more hours at work and man, OH MAN did I get 'em! It's already pissin' me off too. Ie: next week, I get Thursday and Friday off, while Ben get's Tuesday and Wednesday off. Fucken SHIT!!! Another trial in our relationship, but like ones prior to this one, we'll conquer it. I think we're just good like that. On this note tho, it doesn't look like it''l be that simple to see each other for a while. We chilled on Tuesday, but now he has no more free days til Tuesday, and when he's free, I'm not. Knowing me at least, I'll probably break and try to see him before work, during lunch or maybe even after work. We'll see. In any case, Imma go....
