Still on the road to recovery
Well I had my surgery. They ended up taking both the tonsils and adenoids. The doctor said that both were the worse he had ever seen on anyone so I guess its a good thing that I did the surgery. Its day 10 after my surgery and I am still in pain. I saw the doctor on monday and I told him that I was still in a lot of pain. So he looked in my mouth and told me that the surgery spot was healing nicely but I have a yeast infection in my mouth and that is why I am still in a lot of pain. The yeast infection in my mouth was caused by the antibiotics he gave me. So he gave me a perscription for this swish and swallow stuff thats just about the nastiest thing I have ever had. I have lost about 15 pounds since my surgery cause I cant eat. I have been drinking a lot of tea and water. I have to admit though that the pain is better than it was. Saturday was by far the worse day. Nick came over and we watched a movie and I cried cause of the pain. I have not been in this much pain since the tip of my finger was chopped off...I even think this is worse. Ahh well, maybe tomorrow will be a better day.
