(no subject)
So I was watching TV the other day and a commercial came on for a new show on TBS called "Glory Daze". Now, as my college roommates can attest, I always yell out, "Asian!" whenever I see one on TV, due to its rarity. And the trailer for the next episode featured one. I thought to myself, 'Self, that guy looks just like Tim Jo.'.
I looked it up, and by jove, it IS Tim Jo! I didn't realize he was trying to be an actor; I assumed he was going for behind-the-camera kind of stuff. I wish him continued success! Maybe we'll see him on Hawaii 5-0, joining two of my fave Korean-American actors, Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park.
The weather is changing, with super gusty winds from the north bringing some drier, cooler air. (Obviously I missed my calling as a weather girl) I went golfing yesterday with Dad and has the game of my life, putting up a score of 32 on the first 9 holes. Of course, this is on a Par-3 course, don't get too excited ^_^. The weather is also jump-starting my juices and I've been extra productive. I even cleaned my room and waxed my car (gasp). Next: a job?!?!
Despite my productivity, I'm still a bit bummed. Probably because my birthday is coming up and I don't feel as if I've accomplished anything of worth this year. Things'll look up, dammit, I'm going to force myself to be optimistic!
