I just moved out. My PC refused to boot. I know nothing about this kind of problem because I know nothing about computers. (Any and I do mean ANY of my friends would just come up and fix it without trying) My only hope was to get it checked but I didnt have the money for it. My final resort (Reluctantly) was to send it to my stepfather. He said he'd do it for free.

What did I get today? A pc that works, apparently had nothing wrong, but had Windows reinstalled.

Was I taken for a fool again?

My HD had been wiped out. Windows was reinstalled in french (Making it even more confusing for me than it already is) and I've lost everything I had worked for before I could even have the chance to ask him to back it up first.

Now I've a whole month to waste away doing nothing all by myself, I have no internet because this new computer wont even detect its network cards, and even then, I wouldn't be able to download anything on it without my landlord cutting it up on me.

What do? To kill, or not to kill?

P.S. the longer it takes to help me, the longer I'll be without a computer and internet. We're already at 2 months ahead now.
