It was the third day of Christmas when she started feeling uneasy. Maybe it was that she had been sober for over 5 days. Maybe it was that her house was just too quiet for her taste; Maru and Moro must have asked Larg for places to hide before he fell asleep. She couldn’t even get drunk on her own; it was just too depressing, and so not her style. She sulked around her house, it seeming so big now that there was no one around.

The Master has gone missing. Lord V.V has ordered a complete recollection of data, in case a backup is needed. No files seem to be missing except those that concern the Master herself.

“Same old, working and running the company in France; how’s your mother? Neurotic as always, I presume,” Kendappa took advantage of Tomoyo’s lapse, firing the first shot. The game had just begun. Tomoyo, of course, seemed to have forgotten who she really was talking to. Only very few people would say they could outwit Tomoyo Daidouji, and get away with it. Kendappa, of course, had years of experience.

Sakura was practically dragging the grown-up brat, talking to everyone and spending an average of 2.3 minutes speaking with someone before spotting someone else across the room and yanking the brat from the current conversation. It was at times like these, when Touya was very proud of his little sister, knowing all that teasing to the brat had not gone wasted. She had become even better than him at annoying Li and making him feel miserable. And the best of it was that she didn’t even realize it.

She had known him by reputation, of course, but he still introduced himself, “Clovis La Britannia, Third Prince and Lord Chancellor of Britannia, always at your disposal mademoiselle.” She bowed respectfully, showing off a bit of her developing cleavage (blame the dress, not the wearer), “Kaguya Sumeragi, your Highness.”
