(no subject)
So much has happened in the last month or so.
I moved out of the apartment with Alfred and into a nice two bedroom with Laa. I feel pretty damn good about it. It's in the PERFECT location. I'm pretty much a bike ride away from everywhere I like to go...well, most places. I've only gone on one ride so far because I'm still getting situated, but my friend Jesse and I went for a ride from my house to the new part of the riverwalk that leads to the San Antonio Museum of Art. It is so nice, I really want to buy a new camera lens and take some pictures. On the riverwalk, there is this fake cavern with a long built in bench...which is kind of cheesy, but nice for a rest. Before you get to SAMA, you ride under a bridge and under the bridge are these huge colorful fish sculpture lights. It's pretty interesting. We can now ride down the riverwalk to VFW, rock bottom tattoo bar(shit hole, but decent bands sometimes play there), and the 1011(a shit hole even worse than rock bottom, but same story). i'm not sure, but i saw a sign pointing to the witte museum...so i'm assuming that you can take the river to the witte museum also, which is pretty awesome. well, anyway, i feel so much better. yesterday i brought preston home....he seems so much happier now that he's here with me... and that makes me really happy.
tonite i'm guest DJing at Webhouse...
everyone who hears about it seems pretty excited about it and wants to go. I'm wish i was excited about it, I'm just really, really nervous and scared. There's a little inside voice in my head...it's the mother from "Carrie" telling me, "They're all gonna laugh at you!"
Hopefully a drink or two will settle my nerves and i'll be alright. When i think about what's going to go on tonite, it seems kind of silly....i'm just gonna play a few songs...probably songs no one actually likes, but me and maybe laa....BORING!!!! drink up everyone!
