Testosterone poisoning

Apr 13, 2007 14:39

All around me there seems to be a rash lately of men in desperate need of a shot of testosterone suppressant.

On this note, I want to say I love my husband, because he is not like them.

He gives me faith that the male of the species is worth reproducing. He gives me faith that relationships are worth every minute. He gives me joy, he gives me support, he makes magic in my life.

He makes every day worth waking up in the morning because I have such a wonderful intelligent man to share my life with.

He makes it easy to be in love.

My daughter summed him up well one time, Jeff gives the word gentleman meaning. The word is "gentle man".
And not because he is unable to be something else, when riled to the defense of those he loves he is capable of being most ungentle.

But in love, I have met no man gentler nor more considerate. Even in those moments when we do not agree, when as only lovers can do we have said hurtful words, he is open to making it better to quickly finding our way back to gentle.
