Ficlet: Graveside.
I wrote a little something over at bree_blacks "Let's get gay married" commentfic meme for this promt:
jared and jensen have been together for years, and same-sex marriage has just been legalized in their state. it was sort of unspoken that they would get married soon, they and their friends and families are all looking forward to it. but then jared or jensen dies suddenly in an accident/fire/hostage situation/murder/etc. some time later, the other partner finds wedding rings hidden somewhere in their house or among the personal effects returned by the hospital/police personnel. overcome with grief, jared/jensen ends up driving over to the cemetery and proposing over the grave.
Here's my fill: Graveside
It's probably PG-13, about 400 words, and, obviously, the premise of the ficlet is that a main character is dead.
