Miracles do happen
Baby M is off life support, has moved out of ICU into a regular room at the hospital! Thank you for all of your prayers and well wishes, I am a complete believer in the power of people channeling positivity and hope for a common goal. And to think doctors thought she wasn't going to make it...this is truly nothing short of miraculous and everyone that said a little prayer, thought positively, and wished for her recovery is responsible. I'm so happy.
So, in the midst of this family emergency my boyfriend was in Vegas (and I was already a little annoyed by that) and yesterday was the first day I was able to see him since he left. We had an actual date but we agreed that a night at home watching Romeo + Juliet intertwined with one other sharing some Blood Orange Sorbet seemed like a much better option. I got just about to the end before I fell asleep, I always sleep better in his arms I swear...
I also have a ton of projects to work on that I want to avoid (which is why I still haven't gotten my backpack out of my car). I have law library research to do, I have to draft a mock brief and pleading, I have to find TWO internships, and I have to prepare my presentation on child abuse (sexual and physical) to a mom's group i'm part of, but have been absent from due to school, on tuesday...
So after I catch up with all of you I will trot my butt down to the car and get started on some homework. But, I wanted to leave you with this. I have loved this song since I was a tween (since that is when Romeo + Juliet came out) and it's still one of the most beautiful songs i've ever heard.
