Pepsi 400
Steve was given tickets to the Pepsi 400 yesterday, so suddenly we are going to the race. He also got tickets to Daytona USA and frontstretch Hospitality Village passes. Not sure what goes on at a hospitality place, but I guess we'll find out.
I can't believe it's the last time that Pepsi will sponsor this race. I finally got used to saying Pepsi instead of Firecracker. And there won't be a Petty in the race for the first time since 1965. And it's the last ever "car of yesterday" restrictor plate race. They are also supposed to announce the Nextel Cup name change. So many changes revolving around this race. I'm glad we're going, even though it bugs me that qualifying was rained out. Not sure if we get to see any of the Busch race with our cup tickets or not, since it was postponed til tomorrow at 9am. That should make parking a unique challenge.
