Summer Plans
Things are coming together for the summer, and that makes me happy. Steve and I are going to Disney and staying at the Caribbean Beach resort on Memorial Day weekend for our one year anniversary. And we are having dinner at Shutters there at the resort on the actual anniversary day.
No plans for June.
In July, Mark is coming over from England, but the way people are snapping up his time, I don't think I'll get to see him. The only time I have available is when all the west coast 'nuts say that they want to have him, and since I get shit over here on the east coast, I figure I'll be out of the loop once again. Then we are going to North Carolina, staying in Waynesville. We are planning a day trip to Bristol for the track tour, then two days in Charlotte doing the track tour and race shops. We did Charlotte 4 years ago, but this time we will have my Mom with us, so we can show her all the shops (ok, so she only cares about Jeff Gordon's shop, but we'll make her look at some of the others). And I want to go to the scrapbooking store that Dale Earnhardt's daughter owns, because it looks really great. Steve wants to go there too, go figure LOL
Then in August, I have my big Dream Events scrapbooking convention at Disney's Beach & Yacht Club resort. I think that Linda and I will be riding over together. Paula, Debbie and Patti are in the room with me again. We are going a day early, so about 10 people told me to pick where to eat that first night. Nothing like a little pressure to make sure 10 people are happy!
