a calm and beautiful day connecting with trees, people, and the neighborhood

love and joy in so many ways.
my world is full of hope and soft paper bark and fuzzy green moss.
i love my new neighborhood so much.
i love my friends so much.

woke up a bit hung over from a really great night out at the Hubba Hubba Review. Missed a yoga workshop and went to breakfast with Rachel instead which was far more important than a yoga workshop. Pure joy. things are going beautifully there. we are in complete accord as we evolve and transform our love for each other.

later on i went to dolores park today and fell in love with a new tree. it is so big and beautiful and covered in soft fuzzy moss. read some and did stretches. i also went into Bi-Rite for the first time. such a lovely grocery. i bought a tasty peach. i was overjoyed just to be in a local sustainable community grocery store. on my way home i said hello to many trees, such good friends keeping life and shade and air on our city streets.

hung out with hannah in the evening. it has been weeks since i've seen her. we talked about the state of the country and the planet and of our relationships as we often do and went for a nice walk after sharing some indian food. then we came back to my place for milk and chocolate and more conversation.

i went for a 15 minute walk tonight at midnight. i did not find a calm place to read and have tea in the Mission on a Saturday night but this did not surprise me. so i went home and looked at Faerieworlds photos on Flikr and had tea.

now i read some and then sleep.

oh the resting is so good.

rachel, introspection, neighborhood, friends
