i've been thinking a lot in the last few days and getting reinjured by the dread double star drop has provoked me to dive deeper into a line of inquiry which i was already pursuing ( Read more... )

As we continue to change and grow (and how can we not? *winks*) we must sometimes alter the way in which we see ourselves in regards to everything- the All, the Source. In order to do that we need to dig deep into ourselves and figure out where we came from to be the person we are now, and where that person may be going. This is not always easy as life often keeps us very busy and tied up and we forget to sit back and have those little discussions with our own minds over a cup of tea. Even when life is full of pure joy and ease, we often forget to catch up with ourselves even more so because of how grand things are.

Your ideals to better serve the All Source make me smile, you glorious being! But don't forget, how can you serve the All Source without first, serving yourself? This is not being selfish, but you need to know what you need, what you love & what makes you happy as well as what you don't need and what does not make you happy. When you are happy your ability to make others happy and to give yourself over to the All Source knows no bounds. Does circus make you happy? Would you miss it if you cut it out of your life and focussed solely on yoga? Would that longing perhaps get in the way of you serving the All Source, more so than if you stuck with it? Do you think you could find mutual happiness in other activities?

As you said, you have seen others inspire with their feats in circus arts. We need more mutual muses and people to awe and inspire- for that breeds hope, delight and a sense of magic which allows people to wake up from the banality that our modern lives can cast upon us. I feel that way when I perform my music. Even if it is just with my housemates, jamming together in the living room, I see our energies combine and create something beautiful that stays with us for the rest of the day. I have had a friend of mine from high school (who's band recently opened up for Guns N Roses new tour) tell me that it was coming out to see m first band perform was what inspired her to pursue music. I have had children I taught dance (now teenagers) tell me they still remember my classes fondly and have since taken their dance career to a level I never even made it to. The ways in which we can inspire people through the things we love can often know no bounds!

My life is simple at the moment, but my dreams are big! Right now I live in a glorious house(s) where I buy organic, cook for my housemates and make my own soap, shampoo, wine & beer and work in my organic garden (I am very into permaculture) . This might seem small, but it is a start and it brings me (and those I live with) much joy. I hope to take these to larger levels as I continue to learn and grow. But for now I love unconditionally and try to be to be the best friend, lover, partner and person I can to other people without denying myself. I think I am doing this fairly successfully and see (from what I read from your journal, for it is really the only way I know you) that you seem to be as well!

Take your time right now. Slow down, meditate more on these thoughts and figure out what you might want to do. You seem to have many people who love and support you (as well as self-love and support) and those are very strong tools to have by your side! Though I have not known you in this cyber realm long, know you have my friendship, support and unconditional love as well.
