Perpetual Damnation

Jul 10, 2005 00:47

A whisper of a kiss remains on my lips,

and your skin under my nails--and blood on my fingertips,

From when I desperately tried to stop this wreck,

But your bite still left a scar on my neck.

You drained my blood and stole my last breath,

with my heartbeat on the verge of death

You left some life but my soul you kept,

now I wonder the earth to pay a debt.

For loving you was a mistake from the start,

With no reward for giving my heart.

I have a hunger of truth for why it began,

And I question why I never asked for a hand...

To help me out of the hole I made,

Now I know I dug my own grave.
