House, Holiday Requests, and More
House. House. House. What's there to say besides stop writing the House druggie fic, fandom?
If Stacey hadn't left last week and it was stated as so in this episode, I would've thought that they were airing them out of order. (Hey, this is FOX and they did it in S1.) This episode felt like Foreman was still in charge because House was so distracted by Webber and the migraine medicine. It would've gone much better had Foreman still been in charge.
House loves his job. Writers, remember that. Though I don't know how hard the puzzle was this week. I mean, if the boys had gone and searched the patient's house, they would've found cigarettes and/or the anti-smoking stuff. The fact that House said that the burnt unit doctors could figure out what was wrong with the kid, I think, was supposed to signal that he wasn't interested. However, it was not played up enough.
The real puzzle (for House) was the migraine medicine. That had unpredictable results and pissed off someone new and different. House gambles high. I don't think using LSD was irresponsible as anything else he did. LSD was created by doctors for mind control during the Cold War. So yeah, no fics with House finding a drug dealer.
Hookers. (Remind me later to write Wesley/Hooker pre-AtS fic.) Yeah, I'm waiting to see what fandom does with that. I'm thankful that House is an adult show so hopefully the family values arguments will be nil. (I still say JM is a manwhore. (No, I don't care what you say, fen. I'm a big evil meanie.) I also say that KB can pose naked all she wants and still play Veronica.) Of course, I think prostitution should be legalized thus better regulated and safer.
Other stuff: Is Cuddy going to have Murphy Brown's luck with secretaries? Yay for Foreman/House h/c. Wilson, stop being annoying. Was Chase even there? Did Cameron do any actual doctoring?
I'm almost finished with my holiday ficlet requests. (Four more to go!) However, I need betas for two fics that got away from me. One is a Buffyverse/due South crossover with slight Buffy/Spike (mostly Buffyverse canon and completely from Buffy's POV, so due South knowledge not needed as much) and the other is Buffy/Wesley.
Guy shot by Cheney has a heart attack due to a bullet traveling to his heart.

Since I don't smile a lot, a final thought from tonight's Boston Legal (from a child client): "Everyone's always telling girls to smile. No one tells boys to smile."
