Easter Hunting [open to anyone who wants to stop by]

It had been nearly midnight when Ali realized it was Easter Sunday coming, and that Ingress might want to celebrate. So it was with Sasha's approval that she found herself making a late-night shopping run for several dozen eggs, egg-dying supplies, little and not so little toys, and (thanks to Jenna being sweet and indulgent) lots and lots of

When the breakfasts are finished, Sasha smiles to Ingress, Ali, Mortimer, and anyone else who may have joined them. "Well, my dears, are we ready for the merriment of the day?"

Ingress nods, smiling excitedly. "Yes please!"

[chill_whispers]

Sasha's smile grows as she rises. "Well, then, dear, let us get you a basket," she remarks, plucking one from nearby, a folded tea-towel cushioning its interior. Offering it to Ingress, she concludes, "there are colorful eggs, candies, and toys hidden throughout the open portions of the house, and now we find and collect them."

She smiles, taking the basket and going over to join Mortimer in the hunting. She'd much rather do it with him than competing against him.

[chill_whispers]

Sasha positively beams, first to Ingress, then to Mortimer and Ali, and slips an arm around her darling Ali as the hunting duo moves off into the house. Wordlessly, she offers her support, her strength, while the hunt goes on and Ali wants to enjoy it.

Ali leans against her just a bit, smiling. "Thank you for indulging us all."

[chill_whispers]

"I am happy to, dearheart. I haven't celebrated Easter in so long, and you have made this first return magnificent. Thank you."

She blushes faintly. "You're welcome."

[chill_whispers]

Sasha smiles, nuzzling that blush if the opportunity arises.

As if Ali would deny it?

[chill_whispers]

Hopefully not. When Ali is ready, Sasha accompanies her in trailing after their dears.

Ali stays out of the way, always, lingering in doorways or out of the way corners to watch. And always, she's holding Sasha close.

*smiles* Do we all get to look?

[chill_whispers]

"Indeed you do, dear," she replies, offering Mortimer a basket as well.

Sounds like fun.*He kisses her and takes the basket, smiling the gleeful way adults do when they get to indulge in something from their childhood.*
