Poor Sketch. His father keeps filling his head with ideas. I really wish the boy would listen to his mother and uncles more.
Those lovely friends of the marquis' visited again. I've learned they can at least pretend to be nice. This furthers my theory that everybody likes chocolate.
( Except this Alexander fellow I met. Must remember to find out how his coup goes.)
de Carabas was considering martyring himself for the cause. I'm very glad he's given that notion up, at least for the time being. I also need to remember to spell things out for him very clearly. He's a bit stubborn and doesn't always see all the options. But he'll learn.
Hopefully all shall go well tomorrow.
