"My darling, that is why our thoughtful foremothers developed for us implements by which we may save our hands the trouble." Her tone is light, joking, but turns serious a moment later as she asks, "is there anything I amy do, to help?"

She holds out her oh-so-offended hand. "Kisses?"

Her hands are gentle as she cradles Ali's, her hair falling around her face like a curtain as she lowers her lips to that sore palm, gracing it with the softest, the tenderest of her kisses, seeking to bring comfort where there is pain.

"Thank you love," Ali sighs at the kiss, lifting Sasha's chin after a moment to claim her lips.

Those lips are easily claimed, tender and loving. Sasha slips her arms around her lover, gently rubbing her back.

"Mmm. Thank you love." Ali holds her close, nuzzling her cheek. "Did you make those lists I'd asked for?"

"I did. A full inventory of Cole's holding and possessions." Her tone says what her words do not.

"Excellent. Thank you love. Oh. I think, as much as I love my Blackberry, I need a real secretary now. Any suggestions?"

[chill_whispers]

"A secretary for you would need to be able to keep up with both halves of your life, to be trusted with the existence of the Nexus... and it would probably be best if they lived here, in order to keep abreast of sudden changes." She ponders for a few moments, then posits, "Mortimer?"

"Mortimer?" She seems surprised by the suggestion, but warms to it after a moment's thought. "I think he'd be the perfect choice. I'll ask him next time I see him."

Sasha smiles, cuddling close.
