The Wonderful Thing About Kittens...
...is kittens are wonderful things.
Okay, their general construction might not involve springs, but still. They're soft and full of purrs, and tell me it's okay to take naps (usually when they'll be taking one anyway), and when I have one of my inevitable little tantrums and start throwing things they think I'm playing with them. They almost always give my slippers back when I want them again. Plus they love getting into the ice cream cartons.
I like to think they'd put up with me even if I didn't bribe them with copious amounts of bacon. I am, however, not foolish enough to test that theory.
Speaking of which, I really need to go to the store.
