For the goslings, the weekend with Gram and Gran had been storybook. There were pony rides, and calves to name, and ducks to chase, and trees to climb, and apples to pick. Gram and Gran could not have been more attentive, and Ali and Hans were rarely far behind. The children were busy from the moment they woke, and by the time they left they'd completely forgotten that Ali had had a fight with Gram and Gran.

Ali was not so fortunate.

So after returning home and settling the children in to tell Sasha about their many adventures, Ali turned the only person she could ask to help her: Samus.
