Samus and Hans have been keeping me entertained so well, the month has simply run away from me. Hans is as charming a host as he is a charming everything else (which is to say, very). And I think I may grow to be quite fond of his sister, if she'd calm down and let us be friends. I could get very, very used to that sort of life.

Samus is ordering a new ship. It shall be big and shiny and glorious, I'm sure. I'm determined it shall be beautiful, at least; the rest of its functionality is between Samus and the builders. It was nice to visit her facet and not see anyone overly familiar. Plus I got to eat a giant cricket, which was very good and tasted like almonds.

I had such high hopes for Jubilee and Dean. She deserves so much better than this. But I'm trying, very very hard, to keep out of it and let them work it out themselves. This whole "being a responsible adult" thing kinda sucks sometimes.

At least her efforts to find peace in her new, suddenly-busy home have a good chance of working out. I think when she's done dealing with the criminal she's babysitting, I'll ask if she'd like me to visit and help her get some projects started. Heavens know I can always use help getting mine off to a good start; it's only fair to pay the favor forward.

It's very nearly her birthday. I hope she likes the presents we've picked out for her.

Jas , meanwhile, has been busy contemplating recycling. And getting drunk. I would threaten to cajole, bribe, or threaten all the merchants in Betäuben to not sell him any liquor, but that wouldn't be fair to his crew. And he'd just come to the Nexus for supplies anyway.

If only I could stop feeling so responsible for him.

dean, jas, jubilee, hans, samus
