Movie Night at the Trainer House [for Hans and whoever wants to wander by]
Movies, as Ali has quickly learned during Hans' stay, are an excellent diversion from certain uncomfortable (if temporary) truths. So tonight, as with several nights past, the dishes from dinner had been cleared while there was much talk of what movie to watch. While before there had been Shakespeare, tonight the children won out, and so while Ali finished making popcorn and drinks and dessert, the goslings prepared everything for one of their favorite films: Enchanted.
Fortunately Hans can handle all this fairy-tale stuff quite well. Ali wasn't particularly worried. But the coffee was getting a shot of whiskey and cream, just to be safe.
