Ali might be considered many things, but a typical tourist wasn't one of them. This was at least in part due to the fact that she went on so few vacations she didn't know how to be a typical tourist. Sure, she might have over-packed a bit, but it was hard to tell when there were so many people in the entourage. And how many people got picked up

*Aramis is settling in very well. He's good at that: he makes places he's never been before home - mostly by simply being enthusiastic - yes, and pretty - at them. And considering he really doesn't want to go back to his real home at present...he is tying his hair up in a loose ponytail*

Ali watches him for a moment. Somehow he always makes her smile.

"You're going to be very popular here if you keep looking so pretty, you know."

*He turns a beaming smile on her. He looks fractionally more mature with his hair tied up.*

*And with a little clap of air being pushed out of a suddenly-occupied person-shaped place, Samus arrives.*

I'm going to have to bring them something to calm them down next time I visit, aren't I?

*Poor Aramis may be missing part of the conversation.*

"You might regret that," Ali counters, looking back over her shoulder when she hears Samus arrive. "It might be a good idea. I hope they didn't claw you too much?"

Then she looks over Samus' outfit. "You know...normally I wouldn't suggest your going out in that, but in San Fransisco, you might not get that many odd looks. But if you want to change I've got clothes for you."

I try not to have regrets!

*Aramis doesn't lose a millimetre of his smile when Samus arrives out of nowhere. He ducks her a bow, eyes bright*

'Allo. Bonjour.

Just where one held on to my back. Didn't even reach the skin. What do they like?

*To Aramis, she flashes a smile.*

Good to see you again, Aramis. How's the vacation coming?

*She raises a brow at Ali's wardrobe remarks, glancing down at her vacsuit.*

This falls in the same range as your clothes? What kind of place is this?

"The kind where the weird and constantly high and otherwise open-minded tend to go when no place else will take them. But people will probably want to know where you got it."

*Aramis listens to this exchange with bright acumen: he glances between the two women*

Should I perhaps change? To better compliment your beautiful selves...

*In strictest fact, she bought a small fabber unit that made it, but that's a minor detail. Aramis' question does lead her to look him over again, though. It absolutely isn't an excuse to look him over.*

Well, Ali, you're the expert. What do you think?

"I think Aramis can get away with wearing whatever he wants." And it's strictly because he asked that she, too, is looking him over. Really really.

*Aramis isn't basking in their attention. Not at all. He perpetually wears an expression like a spolit pedigree cat being petted. Honest.*

That I can, for with such company, mesdames, no man could help but be adorned!

*It should sound corny. But he means it.*

Well then...

*Samus' own smile is sly and perhaps a little anticipatory.*

"Okay...just remember you're not allowed to shoot anybody." Ali jots a note for the others in case they get back first, then grabs her bag and a map of the city someone gave her. "So, what should we see first? The bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown?"

Then she remembers neither of them know what any of those are.

"Um. A park, or one of several quirky neighborhoods?"

*Aramis extends his arm to her - then, with a smile, gestures with his free arm for Samus*

Quirky? Qu'est-que c'est? What is quirky about these places?

No shootings.

*It's an easy promise to make; it barely curtails her ability to do harm, even if it does take an order of magnitude off of her range. In a populated area, she shouldn't need or want to attack over that kind of distance. With a low chuckle, she takes Aramis' other arm.*

I'm with Aramis. Where the three of us can pass together without comment, I want to see what stands out.
