It turns out
Jack's a ghoul; has been since we met pretty much. A him from something like the modern day came to the Nexus and confessed to me. So I went to the him I met first, and
killed the vampire who'd bound him.
But of course that wasn't enough, so after
a talk with both of them I went and
dealt with her friends too.
Ow.
Completely worth it.
I asked for some advice on
dealing with grandparents. I didn't get much advice that wasn't things I'm already doing.
And I met Namor.
I did have fun making Namor prove my point for me though. He's very, um...
comfortable with himself, but in a good way. He's decided he wants to be my protector. He's very serious for such a young man sometimes.
He's also
very good with Alured. We went on a lovely walk, and he said I can visit Atlantis soon. Now, to figure out how to dance underwater...and what does one wear?
Dib proves
as stubborn as ever.
Mortimer's been working on his restaurant.
Anael's not adjusting to humanity well. I hope he comes through it well. I'll try to give him advice, but I'm not sure how much I can help.
It's a bit ironic: he's losing his faith, and I've just found mine.
Beltaine went brilliantly, all things considered. I think people were pleasantly surprised by things, which is good: I don't want them getting the idea I'm going to be like Tymon. I think, if nothing else, letting the redcaps eat their plates earned me a lot of points with the commoners.
It was exhausting, though. I'll have to start planning ahead more from now on.
And I got Sasha to promise she'll wear the suit next time we go dancing.
It's been a very good week.
