"Does he really know how?" She watches Ian for a moment, hesitantly, then lauches herself into his arms. "He hasn't forgiven me for your moving away after all."

"Even the strongest wind can't blow forever," he replies, catching her in the hug. "And he doesn't really hold it against you, he just wants someone to blame so he can grumble."

"You'll have to teach me all these things," she murmurs, hugging him tight. "I have a lot of catching-up to do."

He hugs her tightly in turn. "It's a promise. And you can help me figure out how to be a good brother."

[vicioussweetie]

"I think you've already got most of that figured out. All you have left to do is try and scare the boys who come around to date me, and flirt with my friends."

He chuckles. "Well, I think I can manage that."

"I should hope. Now, to whom should I introduce you first..."

Clearly, this is a matter of great importance and the need for much plotting.

"Uh oh, you're plotting. Should I be worried?"

"Yes. You should be terribly, horribly worried." She smirks. "You should run away and change your name to avoid the dire fate of friends with really great personalities."

"Somehow, I have the feeling that this should be either more or less ominous than it is..."

"Oh, wait, I almost forgot: Mwa hahahahaha!" She laughs an evil evil silly laugh and rubs her hands together too.
