Let the Hunt Begin! [for the Nexus Easter egg hunt]

The sounds of playing children come from a field on the edge of one of the Nexus forests. Ali's sitting under a tree, her baby son in her arms, watching the children play. Off in the distance a large wolf raises his nose and sniffs the air. Catching Ali's scent, his tail wags a little and he begins to head in her direction. As he gets closer Iva can be seen trotting along beside him in her fluffy, huge-pawed puppy form. She occasionally trips over her own feet, but always bounces right back up again.

"Ali!" Grey's wolfish face is less expressive than his human one, but his voice conveys a smile.

"Grey, Iva!" Ali's delighted to see them both. "Hello! How are you both?"

"We are well, how are you?" Grey lowers himself to the ground near Ali. Iva bounds forward when she hears her name and sniffs at Ali eagerly.

Ali holds out her hand for Iva to sniff. "We're well too. I'm glad to see you both."

Addressing Iva, she asks, "Would you like to hunt out candy and eggs with the other children, my dear?"

Shawn is helping Liam walk so they can greet the woman running this egg-hunt. The nine year old is pleased by the fact that they did get to do somthing today. The often bubbly toddler does have to be watched though. He runs ahead of Shawn with a peel of gleeful laughter. Shawn's eyes go wide and he chases after Liam.

"Liam, wait up," he catches up with his brother and pauses when they reach Ali.

"Hi. I'm Shawn, this is my brother Liam." Liam doesn't usually say much in the way of well, anything. But he waves at Ali shyly.

"Hi," the toddler manages before going back over to his brother's side.

Ali smiles at the children when the approach. "Hello! I'm Ali. Are you two here to hunt for candy?"

*Dib wanders up, looking a little preoccupied, and gives a wave when he sees Ali.*

Uh, hi. So, this is it?

"Hello sweetheart. Yes, this is it. You get a basket, and then you look around here," she waves a hand around the general area, "for boxes of candies and decorated eggs."

That's it? Wow. Um, thanks.

*Taking up a basket, Dib goes wandering off through the field, looking for eggs and boxes.*

"Yes, that's it. What were you expecting, explosions?" Silly Dib, that's for other people's parts in the hunt!
