Solidarity, of a sort

Iron Man decided to try and force people in the Nexus to register for his stupid Super-Human Registration Act. Idiot. A lot of people turned out to yell at him. All they needed were a few signs and some tie-dye and it'd've been a proper protest. But it was kind of nice in a way, to see that despite our differences we can all band together, and to see that even my most absent siblings will come to my defense at unexpected times. (Mostly. Don't think I didn't see you, Dib.)

That hasn't stopped people from panicking (and sometimes making idiots of themselves) of course. Some of the worry is understandable. Some people have lived through this already once, and don't want to face it again. I don't blame them. I don't enjoy dealing with morons like Iron Man either. But others...others really should know better.

But today is a holiday, and I intend to celebrate. There's Irish stew, Fried cabbage and potato cakes, and skillet Irish soda bread served with cheddar and apples for dinner, and Alured hasn't been too fussy today so I might be able to sneak out with Marcus and Ian for an hour or two. Éirinn go Brách!
