Just turning up in a port and moving straight into a town without so much as a by-your-leave used to be part and parcel of piracy, as far as he was concerned. Admittedly, "moving in" back in those heady days tended to involve more screaming, killing and stealing than buying real estate and throw pillows, but still...*
