Kuro being a pimp was funny, but had sapped all of Ali's currently-limited energy for dealing with weird for the day, so she eventually retreated home.
Besides, she had things to do! There were weddings coming up, and she suspected she'd be asked for advice again before either took place. Not to mention, she'd hopefully have one of her own to plan soon. (Heaven help James if he keep her waiting too long.) So she curled up on her sofa with a snack, a pot of tea, Jezel, and some bridal magazines for some reading and daydreaming.
