Books are Love [for visiting]

Ali's stretched out on her sofa, mostly hidden under a blanket. The room is quiet, and only a few lights are on; it looks pretty deserted. Every now and then a few fingers poke out to turn the page of her book though, so there are some signs of life if anyone feels like peeking in from the Nexus (the door being conveniently open for peeking).

The door to Ali's house being open is unusual, and sure sign that either something is wrong, or Ali is waiting for company. Since nothing sounds or smells like trouble Grey assumes it's the latter.

"Greetings?" He doesn't spot Ali immediately, though he can tell she is either in the room or just left it.

She peeks out at him, then uncovers her head and sits up. "Grey, Iva! Hello. Please, come in."

"Hello." He smiles at her and enters, ducking a bit to get under the door frame. He quickly takes a seat on the floor near Ali. Iva reaches out her little arms, clearly signaling that she wants to sit with Ali on the couch.

She smiles, shrugging off the blanket to reach for Iva. "Hello darling. What brings you here today? Did you and your daddy want to visit? It's a very good day for that today, you know."

Iva smiles back at her and babbles a few enthusiastic syllables.

Grey hands Iva to Ali. "What is it that makes today good for visiting?"

She cradles Iva with a contented sigh, making sure Iva's very comfy before answering. "Today is a good day for visiting because I have presents for Iva. And this way I don't have to try and sneakily find out where your new house is from you so I can bring them over."

He smiles. "I can easily give you the address of my house, but I'm not sure how to describe the particular version of Midgard it's on. I did get a cell phone in the Nexus marketplace though, and that has a code for the world."

"Ah, that will be helpful." Her attention shifts to Iva again. "Would you like your presents now, or do you want to cuddle a while longer first?"

Iva is quite happy with the cuddling, though she also seems curious about the blanket.

"Would you like the number now, or should I wait til you have something to write on?"

Ali offers Iva a corner of the blanket to examine. "I doubt I'll remember it if I don't write it down, my memory being as it is..."

Iva sets to work looking at, petting, pulling, and chewing on the blanket.

"Alright, in a while then."

"Okay." She's having quite a lot of fun watching Iva.

"Is she sleeping better now?"

He nods. "Yes. I put one of my shirts in her crib. And the yetti."

He smiles. "She's very cute when she's curled up with the yetti."

She grins. "I bet. But then, she's always cute."

"Yes, but I get somewhat accustomed to it. Then she does something to remind me."

"She's a clever girl. Here, why don't you take her for now while I get those presents?" She doesn't want to admit that Iva + pregnant = aching back.
