Presents!
Sasha will find some presents waiting for her on her dresser. The boxes, contain a many-stranded pearl necklace with a ruby snake gathering them together and a new riding hat. There is also a note that time has been arranged for her at a stables about an hour out of town every Saturday for the next year, and she'll have her choice of horses.
Waiting for Mortimer on his dresser is a small box, containing red and white paisley cufflinks. Next to it sits a pilot's hat, and a note giving him the name and contact info of a man who is more than happy to schedule the time that's been paid for on a helicopter.
Jas will find his morning occupied by men in uniform. Not the usual sorts he dealt with once upon a time, who would try and arrest him. No, these are men from the store sent to deliver and set up all the things Ali's bought for him. The first delivery is straightforward enough: a very fancy leather massage chair that comes with a book of instructions in several languages. She's even made sure the remote is on the most convenient side of the chair.
About an hour later, a pair of men from another store show up with three boxes: a mini fridge and freezer, as well as a very small convection oven with burners on top. These too come with those rarely-helpful instruction manuals.
Ed who is her brother gets an envelope in the mail, containing gift certificates to a bunch of different restaurants in and near the Nexus, all for dinner for two. There's also a note from Ali:
Brother,
You should take that girl of yours on a few proper dates.

The other Ed gets a package in the mail, containing several beginner's texts on chemistry and the works of the classic alchemists from Earth. Tucked into the top one is a note:
Almost-Brother,
This is as close to your alchemy as my world touches. I hope some of it proves helpful in your research.

Eamonn finds a bougainvillea bonsai sitting on a table by a window in his room, along with a wonderful new coat that is remarkably like his old coat (but much newer).
Waiting on her desk for the next time she sees Sheo are two boxes. One contains black and white checkered cufflinks, while the other has a pocketwatch that shows the gears through windows in the case.
Havelock finds, delivered to his office one morning, a carved olive and rosewood chess set, with a note:
My dear Havelock,
You have been working far too hard, and I miss you. Please make time for this with someone.

Lord Hong, on the other hand, receives a beautifully calligraphied (in English) invitation to a proper afternoon tea, at his convenience. It goes on to request that he give her a day's notice so she can prepare.
Grey and Iva have things waiting for the next time they visit, or Ali plans to visit them. For Iva, a stuffed yeti awaits many fierce battles. Grey gets something much more civilized: a meier set, as well as a hnefatafl set.
When Victor next visits her room at Ali's, she'll find a few things waiting on the bed for her. The biggest are the boxes of sea glass (four, mostly sorted by color). There's also a bag of beads, a set of tools and findings for making jewelry, and some colorful cufflinks for her new blouses.
Ginta gets a very good Swiss army knife, with loads of gadgets and doodads to play with.
The Kurts she knows all get notes inviting them to join her for dinner sometime soon at a German restaurant she's been wanting to try.
