What up? What up?
So... I forgot to mention that I most likely will be going to Caracas, Venezuela for spring break. I guess my grandparents aren't doing so well. My Nonna's bone cancer has turned unoperable, unfixable.. I am going to be such a fucking emotional mess. If you know me worth shit, you'd know how much of an emotional person I am. I'm pretty much going to Venezuela to say good bye.. That's what it feels like, and I'm like getting upset right now. But I'll be strong, I'm from Jers!! I gotta keep it together..
So yeah I'm sure they are going to try to get me everything I want and spoil me, but I want to spoil them. I love my nonno and nonna so much it hurts. So we'll see. The political/societal climate is nothing to be looking forward to either. My dad was just there less than two weeks ago, and my grandparents house got robbed. The burglars tore through THREE DOORS. Three fucking doors, one was a regular wood door and then there were two metal barred doors. What the fuck. My mom's mom house has been robbed twice already. I don't hate my country but god damn.. Some people have even put electrical wiring around their front doors/patios. It just keeping thinking and it scares me to think what would have happened had they been home.
I'm finally feeling the "overwhelmness" of being a senior. I should be revising my two thesis' for my experimental classes. I also have to fill out two copies of my awareness/acknowledgement of the ethical guidelines set forth by the Institutional Review Board and then send those forms to them (the IRB). Which is scary because I also have to detail every single specific of my study that I will be conducting.. AHHH!!! I just got a certificate stating that I passed my test on the ethical principles and guidelines of human research studies.. Fun fun! Well I'm waiting for Ty to come over so we can go work out, have to look nice for Spring break and graduation.
Tonight should be super exciting, I'm going to Bennigans with Tyler's 'rents for a late b-day dinner. That's not the exciting part.. Afterwards Carlin and me are going to go semi-bar hopping.. No, I'm pretty sure full-out barhopping. We are stopping first at Paradiso's for their ultimate margaritas mmm.. I've already had my first "legal" long island ice tea.. Soooo good from TGIF's.. It's so good.
