the ridiculous update.
So, the last time I actually posted was in October. Shameful, i know. especially b/c i used to post after i like, took a bite of something. that didn't make sense. anyway. brief update on my life:
1) I still love college.
2) Its hard as BALLS. more than just work, learning to organize your room and your time while remembering to eat lunch and call your mommy is like, a fucking joke. I think i'm holding up pretty well....but i miss only having class from 10am - 1pm. quite frankly, Sr. @ HB was the Jam.
3) Going home was a blast; from tuesday til Sunday, rockin out w/ my brotha name ALecz. and sitting on my couch and watching HBO on demnad was GA-LORIOUS. i didn't want to come back to school, but i'm okay now. but there isn't much better than eating TERRIBLE chocolate cake, sitting by the fire, and watching I Heart [the] Huckabees.
4) I am in 2 shows: City of Strangers and Weird Romance. City of Strangers is a review of all different showtunes and it revolves around a bunch of characters who all show up in the same bar. I play Whore #1. (don't say a damn thing!) I sing "A Lovely Day to be Out of Jail," "Stepsisters Lament," and i'm in a bunch of group numbers. Weird Romance is two one-act musicals with music by Alan Menken (Disney, Newsies, Little Shop of Horrors) in that I play Shannara, Movement Coach, and Rebecca, (look it up if you care who they are..... its TOO hard to explain)
5) So, i'm super overwhelmed but its a blast.
6) I have been sick since spring break. EW. i'm starting to feel better though...kinda...
7) My boyfriend is wonderful. his name is Michael. he takes care of me when i'm sick and thinks i'm funny. and i think he's funny. so really, what else do i need? we have been together for like, 5 months... or something.. i don't know. he sings too...and he's real good.....and he doesn't complain when i sing too.. and actually THAT is the most important thing. AND he never refers to Doggie B as a boy (that may only mean something to some of you....but if it does, you understand how big that is.)
8) I don't want to eat in the dining hall for 6 more semesters....literally...i cannot eat another damn turkey and spinach wrap OR a grilled cheese, too much of a good thing? maybe....but either way....PLEASE.
9)My Friends are amazing. 'nuff said.
10) i'm living with 4 of my best girlfriends next year and another girl who i know i'm gonna become close to. we're living in a suite, which means i won't have to share a room... AGAIN. YES!!!!!
11) I miss arlington sometimes, i pretty much just miss my friends. a buttload.
