I have moved...

Well, no, not really.
Not house-wise anyway.

But the other day (well last Sunday) I was starting to tidy up my study (a weekly job that should be done more often) and decided that I wanted to move my study to a different part of the house. Given that we've got 2 bedrooms going spare (aside from the one that is our bedroom, and the one that Alex claimed as his study) this is not a hard thing - aside from moving furniture.

So today I unpacked my room and (with some help from Alex) moved to one of said spare rooms. All that remains of my previous study is two corkboards/noticeboards, and the second handset of our phone which will stay there for now.

(The two clear boxes that can be seen here will go up to the roof soon I hope)

All the heavy (well some is more heavy than others) furniture is now in place as well as some more ornamental bits, and the start of my academic interests on the book shelf. The bigger boxes of my craft things are away in the wardrobe.

But there's still a pile of little odds and ends that I have to sort out

I think this has come about because I haven't done a proper study clean up since I got here nearly 2 years ago. When I was younger - especially just before christmas (and also sometimes mid year), I'd spend a week or so shuffling papers and ornaments (and the rest of the contents of my desk) back and forth between my bed and desk gradually putting somethings away whilst heavily culling the amount of stuff I had accumulated. This "move" is letting me do that all over again, and it feels good. Even if it does mean I want more bookshelves, and a little desk for my sewing machine to live on.
